Barack Obama, President of the United States

Support the global intention of Barack Obama as the President of the United States this November 4th, 2008.

Help to bring a collective focus of energy and attention to the upcoming US Presidential elections.

Participate individually or gather your friends, and join in a prayer/intention that Barack Obama is elected the President of the United States.

Not everyone can vote in the US elections -- either you are not a US citizen, or you are too young to vote.

But since what happens in the United States affects what happens on a global level, we feel all beings who are concerned and interested should participate in bringing a candidate into office who we all feel represents greater wisdom, understanding, and a wider global perspective.

Some very basics on affirmation/visualization/prayer (non-denominational):

1) Clearly state in one sentence the desired outcome. Do it in a way that you can emotionally connect with, excites you, inspires you!

2) Fully release the things that you feel are an obstruction - "fear, anger, doubt etc" to the positive outcome desired - ie Barack Obama as President of the United States.
a. Make use of the breath to help in this -- on exhalation release all obstructions.
b. Keep releasing until you feel you are ready to affirm the desired outcome. You will feel some basic peace and clarity in yourself.

3) Fully affirm the vision/affirmation/prayer for as long as you are able - on inhalation breathe in and affirm (doing this in a quiet circumstance certainly helps and continue using the exhalation to release any obstructions that might arise).

So, basically: inhalation/affirmation - exhalation/release

4) Take an action that helps to support the desired outcome, however large or small....

It's known to all of us - intuitively if not consciously, and called different things in different traditions....

* Prayer
* Visualization
* Affirmation
* "You become what you meditate on"
* "Energy follows Attention"
* Laws of Manifestation
and so on....
